DESIRE provides tools, examples, documentation and workshops to help you build better services - but we can't do all the work for you. We need you to join the team!

If you're a researcher, or a library professional, why not set up a Subject Gateway or contribute some of your time to reviewing and recommending information for an existing gateway. We need to increase both the number of subjects covered and the number of countries covered by the existing network. Read up on DESIRE, contact us, or come along to a workshop if you think you could help.

If you work for a network provider, particularly a National Research Network, then think seriously about joining the DESIRE European Caching Mesh. Read the documentation and maybe attend a caching workshop.

If you just want help finding information on the Internet, take a look at some of the existing sites with DESIRE at their heart. If you find them useful, tell a colleague.

Whoever you are, you can help spread the news about a better way to build the Internet.
