Subject Gateways: Demonstrators

This section of the DESIRE web site contains details and links to leading subject gateways and demonstrations of DESIRE research findings as used in real end-user services. A set of more research oriented demonstrators are also available, which aim to showcase the ongoing research and development activities supported under DESIRE, as well as work carried out in the Caching, White Pages and Web Indexing activities.

Wherever possible, real services are used to demonstrate key issues central to the DESIRE project and its objectives. Additionally, specific "demonstration only" sites, services and tools will also be made available that allow for real time demonstrations of DESIRE research findings.
